Wow, please take me here! I would love to see the Northern Lights and cannot think of a better place to see them from. Hotel Kakslauttanen is in Lapland inside the Arctic Circle, close to the unique Urho Kekkonen National Park.
The snow resort has a number of different types of rooms including real snow igloos, rural log cabins with hot tubs and these glass igloos, even when its -30c outside, the inside stays warm without causing the glass to fog up, giving you a spectacular view of the Aurora Borealis or Midnight Sun.
There is also a glass tepee used as a function room, an ice chapel with reindeer skin aisle, giant snow igloo restaurant with ice table, sculpture gallery, Santa’s grotto and the worlds largest smoke sauna.
